POSITION: Recording Secretary
REQUIREMENTS: The Town of Londonderry is seeking applicants for a Recording Secretary to compose minutes for various board, committee and commission meetings as assigned. The duties include attending evening meetings to compose, record, and send transcribed meeting minutes to appropriate Town Staff within 5 business days of the meeting. Computer proficiency and strong typing, grammar, and punctuation skills are required. Experience in transcription is preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English effectively, and establish and maintain effective working relationship with Town Staff. The pay rate is $15.00/hour, with an average (but variable) work week of 6 hours/week including attendance at meetings and the transcription of minutes thereafter.
