Interlibrary loan - You must have
a valid Leach Library card and be a patron in good standing (no overdue
books or outstanding fines exceeding $10.00). If we don't have the
book you want, we will try to borrow it from another library for you.
There are no renewals on interlibrary loan metarial.
Reserves -
You may reserve a title that is checked out from the Library and we
will call you when it comes back.
Public Meeting Room - We
have a versatile meeting room on the lower level which is made available
to Londonderry's non-profit organizations. All meetings must be free
and open to the public. If you wish to reserve the library's public
meeting room, please stop by the library to pick up an application.
Display Case - It is the
policy of the library to provide space for exhibits and displays from
the library's own collection and those of other community agencies
or individuals. If you wish to reserve the display case, please stop
by the library to pick up an application.
Group
study room - Is available for students who need to work on a group
project. It may not be reserved in advance.
Quiet
Study Room - is available for adults and may not be reserved in advance.
Community
bulletin board - is available for non-commercial, non-profit,
local organizations who are not promoting religious or political forums.
Subject to space availability and approval of the Library Director.
Photocopy machines - 10
cents per page. There are two copiers available for public use.
Public word processing
PC - WordPerfect and Word software. Reserve in advance by calling
the Reference Department. You may bring in outside disks for use on
the Word Processing PC. Outside disks may not be used in any other
library PCs. If you need a disk for use on PCs other than the Word
Processing PC, we have disks available for sale for $1.00. You may
leave the disk here and use it when you return.
Used Book Shop - A variety of "pre-read" books are available
at prices ranging from 25 cents to one dollar. The book store will
be open during it's regular hours, Tuesdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. Donations of good used books
will be accepted following the guidlines for donations which are available
at the Circulation Desk or at the Book Store.
Telephone renewals - Materials may be
renewed over the phone or at the Library if there is not a reserve
on them.
Circulating Items - Audio
books, books on cd, books, large print books, magazines, paperbacks,
videos, DVDs and music cd's.
