A Small Area Plan integrates land use, transportation, urban design, infrastructure and other area-wide
issues and concerns into an overall development plan for a specific geographic area.
It is an important part of a town’s master
plan as it provides a guide for the future growth and development of a specific area of the community as opposed to the entire town.
The
purpose of this Northwest Small Area Plan is to identify issues and propose strategies for the future growth and development of the
northwest corner of Londonderry.
