When are property taxes due and billed?
Tax bills are mailed 30 days prior to the due date. The tax bills are mailed by June 1st and November 1st, and due July
1st and December 1st respectively. Every effort is made to mail the tax bills out earlier if at all possible to give taxpayers
additional time.
Can I pre-pay on my property tax bill?
Yes, under the following guidelines:
After April 1st you may make payments on the upcoming tax year (April 1st to March 31st
of the next year) through the tax office until December 31st of that year. From January 1st through March 31st, pyaments are
made with the Finance office and are deposited in an escrow account until they can be applied for the upcoming year. Those payments
are processed before your tax bill so that you can have an accurate amount that is due by July 1st.
