NOTICE regarding permits (excluding burn permits) at Londonderry Fire Department:  Any resident in need of a permit normally obtained from the Fire Department (excluding burn permits) will be screened for health prior to entering the Department.  Permits will be available on-site on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM.  Otherwise, please contact either Sue Roy at [email protected], Brian Johnson at [email protected] or call 432-1124.

 To obtain a fire permit online, please follow this link to the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands. Permits obtained through the NHDFL website are fee based and require a credit card for payment:   Online Burn Permitting System

Note: The online permitting system charges a fee, which is payable to the NH Division of Forests and Lands, and is not managed by, nor are the fees received by, the Town of Londonderry.

Mission Statement

To economically and efficiently, prevent or reduce the loss of life and property in Londonderry, resulting from fires, medical emergencies, disasters, and hazardous materials incidents. 

To protect and maintain the well being of the community, and to respond to the need of its citizens in a professional and courteous manner. 

The Primary Goal (mission) of the Fire/Rescue Department is to Protect Life and Property. In order to achieve this goal, there are three areas of necessary resources: Personnel, Facilities, and Emergency Vehicles and Equipment 

The department operates under five divisions that utilize these resources, Administration, Operations, Fire Prevention, Communications, and Technical Services. Each division is assigned subsidiary goals and objectives to achieve our mission.
