Location	Intersection of Pillsbury Road and Mammoth Road, including the schools, library, police/fire stations, Glenwood Cemetery, and Town Hall
Overview	This area is recognized as the civic heart of Londonderry. The area features the Town's civic buildings, Town Common and Town Forest, LAFA sports complex, and the Morrison House Museum. A network of trails connects the properties together and leads into the picturesque Moose Hill Orchards

Directions	The Town Center is located at the crossroads of Mammoth Road (NH 128) and Pillsbury Road. School and Civic facilities are located to the north along Mammoth Road. The Morrison House is located to the west on Pillsbury Road. Glenwood Cemetery is near the Town Center, on Mammoth Road just south of Pillsbury Road.

Wayfinding	Public facilities are well labeled and signed. A multi-use pathway runs along Mammoth Road between Pillsbury Rd and the Middle School and westerly along Pillsbury Road to Moose Hill School. Trails behind the school complex are signed but not flagged.

Points of Interest

School/Orchard Trails	There is a large network of trails (10+ miles) that provide a circuit around the school facilities and sports fields and connect to a network of trails that wind around and through Moose Hill Orchards. There are several points of interest along the orchard trails. From Pillsbury Road (east of Mammoth Road), a southeasterly trails run through a pear orchard to the Poets Prance, site of an old Cortland tree with a swing and poetry by John Keating. Also from Pillsbury Road heading northerly, trails lead to the Peace Pole and LAFA complex. Additional trails off of Pillsbury Road (west of Mammoth Road) lead to Adams Pond and connect all the school playing fields together.
Town Common	The Town Common is the site of community gatherings, including Art on the Common, Concerts on the Common and the Town's largest event: Old Home Day. The Common features a bandstand and picnic tables. The Common also contains the Soldiers Memorial, commemorating veterans from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I and World War II. Morrison House Museum	The Morrison House, Clark Blacksmith Shop, Parmenter Barn, and Litchfield Carriage shed have all been restored on two acres on Pillsbury Road that was donated to the Londonderry Historical Society. The facilities comprise a museum for Londonderry artificats and tools illustrative of life in the 18th century. Visit the Historical Society website here.
Glenwood Cemetery	Burials in Glenwood Cemetery date back to 1790 and many of the original founding families of Londonderry are buried here. The "front" section, along Mammoth Road is the oldest and contains many Civil War veterans. The monuments are each a work of art.
Grange #44	The Grange Hall, built in 1909, was added to Londonderry's historic registry in 2004. Londonderry Grange No. 44 encourages families to band together to promote the economic and political well-being of the community and agriculture.
Leach Library	Leach Library offers more than just books: museum passes, art displays, WiFi, audio-visual and even audio book downloads. Multi-Use Pathway	A 1-mile off-road pathway provides safe bicycle and pedestrian access between the schools, Town Common, trails and the Morrison House Museum. The path was constructed in 2010 using federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding.
