Filing for Office
Persons interested in running for State or Federal office should visit the NH Secretary of State's website for more information.
The filing period to run in the state Democratic or Republican primary is from Wednesday, June 5, 2024 until Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
- Candidates for Representative to the General Court (State Representative) and Delegates to the Republican State Convention file their Declaration of Candidacy at the Town Clerk's office during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
- All other candidates (County Officer, State Senator, Executive Councilor, Representative in Congress, United States Senator, and Governor) must file in person at the Secretary of State's office in Concord.
